Copy Telegram fonts for your name and bio. Usernames that start with @ stay in plain letters so people can still find you. Free to copy and paste now.
Telegram gives you a first name, an optional last name, a bio, and a public @username. The names and the bio accept Unicode. The username is how people open your profile from a link, so it has to stay in plain Latin letters, digits, and underscores. Style the name people see in the chat list, not the link.
A channel title and a channel description follow the same split. The title can be styled. The public link t.me/something cannot. A message in a private chat can be styled, and Telegramโs own formatting (bold, italic, monospace) is a separate system. You can paste Unicode, or you can use Telegramโs formatter. Using both on the same word looks messy.
Bios here are longer than a WhatsApp About line, so you can write a real sentence. Still style only the first line. The second line should say what the channel or the person actually posts, in normal type, because search and memory depend on it.
The preview is a name plus a bio. It is not logged into Telegram. Copy a row and paste it in Settings. If a letter fails to send in a message, it is usually a combining mark the app strips. Switch to a map style, which replaces the letter instead of decorating it.
The full style catalog, including every alphabet used in these previews, is on the Fancy Font Generator.
First name. A short styled first name is enough. A styled last name as well makes the chat list wide and gets truncated.
Bio. First line styled, second line normal. Channel bios should state the topic in the normal line.
Channel title. Bold letters read in the chat list. Script titles get cut on small phones.
Leave @usernames. Public links must be typed by other people. Fancy letters break that.
Type the line you will paste, choose one style, and copy it into the field that accepts it.
Name. Kabir Seth
Bio. Maps, trains, and one photo a day
Channel title. Platform Notes
Username shape. platformnotes
Profile name. Yes. First and last name accept Unicode.
Bio. Yes. The bio can hold a sentence. Style the opening line.
Username. No. @usernames and t.me links stay plain.
Messages. Yes. Pastes work. Telegramโs own bold tool is separate from these characters.
Channel title. Yes. Titles can be styled. The public link cannot.
Start from the social media fonts guide, then compare WhatsApp Fonts and Discord Fonts.
Copy a style and paste it into your name, bio, channel title, or a message. Do not paste it into the username.
Telegram can bold, italicise, and monospace selected text in a message. That is formatting. These rows are different characters. Use one or the other on a word, not both.
Combining marks are sometimes stripped. A style that replaces the whole letter is more reliable. Copy the next row and paste again.
Yes. The title can. The t.me link has to remain plain so people can type it.
Only if it still makes sense at this length. Write the Telegram bio here so the line fits this profile, not the shorter WhatsApp About field.
