Social profile preview
Write an Instagram bio with stylish Unicode letters. Check the character limit, line breaks and the link line before you paste it in. Free to copy and paste.
An Instagram bio is a single field of about 150 characters. Line breaks count. The link under the bio is a separate field and should stay a normal URL. This page is only about that bio box. Profile names, captions, and stories stay on the Instagram fonts page so the two articles do not repeat each other.
People paste a styled bio and then cannot read their own city or hours. Put one styled line at the top and keep the practical facts in normal letters: what you do, where you are, and when you post. Emoji count toward the limit and they also break the visual rhythm of a script line, so use them at the end.
The preview card shows a profile with the bio updating as you type. The @handle stays plain, because Instagram will not accept a styled username even when the bio is fancy. If you specifically want connected script letters, the cursive bio page narrows the examples.
Nothing in the bio changes who can find the account. The username and the name are what people type. A bio that is entirely symbols is harder to remember and harder to read aloud. Style the mood line, not the contact line.
The full style catalog, including every alphabet used in these previews, is on the Fancy Font Generator.
One mood line. Style a short phrase such as the kind of work you do. Stop before the location. Mixed lines look intentional. A fully styled paragraph looks accidental.
Normal facts underneath. Hours, city, and “new post” notes should stay in the normal alphabet so a visitor can scan them.
Cursive when you mean script. If the search is specifically cursive, open the cursive bio page. This page includes other readable styles on purpose.
Leave the link alone. The website field is not part of the bio text. A styled URL will not become a working link.
Type the line you will paste, choose one style, and copy it into the field that accepts it.

Profile name. Separate. The name is not the bio. Style it on the Instagram fonts page if you need to.
Bio. Yes. This is the field. Stay near 150 characters including spaces and line breaks.
Username. No. The handle cannot use these letters.
Posts. Different field. Captions have their own composer and no 150-character cap of this kind.
Link line. No. Keep the URL in plain characters in the website field.
Start from the social media fonts guide, then compare Instagram Fonts and Instagram Bio Cursive Fonts.
The bio field is about 150 characters. Styled letters count as characters too. A double-struck A is still one character, but the visual width is often wider, so the line wraps sooner.
Yes. Breaks you type are kept when you paste. Count them. Three short lines are easier to read than one styled block.
No. A styled tag is harder to read and is not why people use the bio. If you mention a tag, leave it in normal letters.
No. The link field needs a normal URL. Style the bio text above it.
On the Instagram bio cursive page. This page keeps bold, outline, and other readable styles so a bio can stay practical.
